Bengali Wedding Story

A Bengali Wedding includes so many rituals and ceremonies that can take almost three days or more. It starts with the official registration of the wedding and ends with the Boubhat ceremony (Reception) . The Reception or Boubhat usually arranged by the groom’s family . Though the rituals differ with the various districts of Bengal, among Hindus, it is usually classified into two: the Ghoti and Bangal rituals .

Wedding is the most auspicious occasion, bringing closer two souls and I would love to frame the happiest moments of their lives. Picture is worth a thousand words or more than that. I create some memories for them to cherish all their lifetime .

I hope this has been a useful guide. If you have any tips of your own, or of course any questions, please add them in the comments section below.

I must say, People love to take color photographs on the beautiful occasion like marriage. But you captured in BNW is awesome. No need to represent them in colors. It is showing love, memories, and expression of groom and bride amazing.
